Cannon continued to show that he is one of the top goalkeepers in the league in 2008, playing every minute of every game and leading the league in saves. An athletic keeper, Cannon possesses great reflexes and reactions to frustrate opposing forwards. The Quakes defense starts with the former Santa Clara University star. With a knack for stopping one-on-one opportunities, he will again be counted on for a number of spectacular saves in 2009.
