Acquired
2004 MLS SuperDraft: 1st round (7th overall). Dallas acquired the pick earlier in the day from Kansas City along with midfielders Eric Quill and Carey Talley in exchange for defender Shavar Thomas, Dallas' No. 4 selection in the 2004 SuperDraft and a conditional second round selection in the 2005 SuperDraft.
Professional Experience
2006: Started 9 of the 13 games he played in and was on the 18-man day of game roster an additional 12 times during the year…had the bad fortunate of becoming the 4th player in MLS history to score multiple own goals in the same season (4/15 @ COL and 5/13 vs. HOU)…His second own goal was the 500th goal allowed in FC Dallas history…Started six Reserve Division games, collecting an assist while also being sent off on 7/15 @ CHI…Started the 4th Round Open Cup game but received a red card in the second half of the shootout win over the Charleston Battery on 8/2…Started and played the full 90 in both games of the Rio Grande Plate series versus Tigres.2005: Led the team with 29 games played as he became a regular at center back…Almost a year to the date of his MLS debut, scored his first (and second) career goals in a 3-2 loss to the MetroStars at Giants Stadium on 7/27.

Woodson…The team's offensive MVP and captain in 1998 at Annandale, he set school records for goals and points by a sophomore…Played for Braddock Road Warhawks, which captured the Virginia State club title three consecutive years (1997, `98, `99) as well as the 1999 U-17 national championship…The Warhawks' top scorer in 1999…Has been teammates with current FC Dallas forward Abe Thompson at W.T.
